Mêtis[X]

Mêtis[X] is a hybrid. An incendiary mix of action-minded millennials from 50 countries regrouped in a revolutionary concept of global futuristic taskforce firing breakthrough ideas on the world's future.

From the future of Europe in 2020 to the future of humanity in 2200, Mêtis[X]'s rapid-fire thought squad dissects the future's multidimensions

Our punchy "snapshot" one-pagers have a double value:

1) Readable in 180 seconds, they deliver fresh and actionable intelligence in bite sizes to high-level decision makers (Ministers, CEOs, entrepreneurs) at a time where no one has time.

2) They offer a glimpse full of oxygen into the millennial thought-process around the world. Read: into the ideas of the new generations to come.

Launched in summer 2017 to shake the present, Mêtis[X] is also a futuristic forum that connects millennials to global public and private decision makers. The aim is to create an apolitical, intergenerational dialogue on pressing issues of the future to catalyse change now.

Our board of mentors includes a co-editor at The Economist, Google execs, BCG senior partners as well as influential EU decision makers.

Mêtis[X] is run in their free time by a taskforce of action-minded young professionals from around the world, including Europe, the Americas, Middle East, Africa and Asia.

       Mêtis[X] has differentiators. We are:

1) GLOBAL: with people from different countries involved in Mêtis[X].

2) YOUNG & FAST: 20 to 30 years old problem solvers. Punching out 180 second briefs and ready-to-snack reports that reinvent research itself: our Mars paper is written as a movie scenario.

3) ECLECTIC: Well-connected group of Googlers, family entrepreneurs, EU cabinet advisers, MIT engineers, artists, lawyers, social innovators, BCG strategists, neurosurgeons, AI technologists, WEF Global Shapers, UN youth diplomats... Incurably curious about the world's future.

4) FROM THE FIELD: We are not researchers from an institute, but a turbocharged group of young professionals from the world who bring a practical perspective.

5) FUTURISTIC & FREE: Solving tech together. Storytelling stuff no one tells about. Doing it with zero budget. Mêtis[X] is not funded by anyone: we do with our own means.

We had a lot of positive response, including follow-on discussions with:

      • The NASA
